Scribe acquires book on Hong Kong protest movement

Scribe’s publisher, Henry Rosenbloom, has acquired world rights in City on Fire: the fight for Hong Kong, by Antony Dapiran, an Australian writer and lawyer who moved to Hong Kong 20 years ago. Dapiran has a high international media profile as an informed observer of Hong Kong affairs, regularly writing and commenting about current events for leading magazines, journals, newspapers, and media outlets, including the ABC, The Age/Sydney Morning Herald, The Australian Financial Review, The Guardian, the BBC, CNN, Bloomberg TV, The New York Times, The Washington Post, The South China Morning Post, and The Wall Street Journal.

Rosenbloom said, ‘The fate of Hong Kong hangs in the balance, and what happens to it will affect us all. Scribe will publish City on Fire in early 2020.
