Scribble to begin publishing directly into North America

Scribble, Scribe’s picture-book list, will begin publishing titles in North America with distribution from Consortium and with the marketing and publicity support of Cursor.

Scribble’s publisher, Miriam Rosenbloom, said:

I receive so many messages from readers asking for a North American release date for this book, and we’re proud to be the publishers who’ll be doing that. It is a very exciting development for the Scribble list, and we’re delighted to be able to bring our brilliant authors and illustrators to a whole new audience.’

All the Ways to be Smart, from the multi-award-winning partnership of Davina Bell and Allison Colpoys, is the third title from the pair, and has been a consistent bestseller in Australia since its mid-October 2018 release. Their debut title was published in North America as Captain Starfish by Abrams, and Scribble will be publishing their second title, Under the Love Umbrella, in North America. Colpoys was recently nominated for Kate Greenaway award for her work with Joseph Coelho on ‘If all the world were …’.

The launch titles for Scribble will be All the Ways to be Smart (Davina Bell & Allison Colpoys), Under the Love Umbrella (Davina Bell & Allison Colpoys), Watch This! (Jane Godwin, Beci Orpin & Hilary Walker), and Doodle Cat Wears a Cape (Kat Patrick & Lauren Farrell).
