Nino Haratischwili wins the Kulturkreis Literature Award

Nino Haratischwili, the author of the forthcoming The Eighth Life (For Brilka) has been awarded the prestigious Literature Prize of the Association of Arts and Culture of the German Economy.

The Eighth Life (For Brilka) is an epochal novel, in the tradition of Tolstoy, about the fortunes of a Georgian family during the rise and fall of the Soviet Union. Ranging across a century, and over half of the globe, it has been described as 'the novel of the year' (Spiegel) and its author as 'one of the most important voices in contemporary German literature' (Die Zeit).

We are delighted to be bringing it to English-speaking audiences in both the UK and Australia in 2017.
