The 2015 Scribe Nonfiction Prize for Young Writers

Are you a young writer (under 30) working on a longform or book-length nonfiction work? Then you should enter it in our prize!

Now in its third year, the Scribe Nonfiction Prize is a developmental award aimed at fostering young and talented nonfiction writers. The winner will receive:

a prize of $1,500
a meeting with a Scribe editor or publisher
up to 10 hours of editorial time
a book of their choice every month for a year.

The prize is open to writers who are working in any nonfiction genre, and entries must be between 5,000 and 10,000 words. Previous winners include Oliver Mol, whose debut work, Lion Attack!, was published in May of this year.

Entries are open until 28 August — you can enter via the Express Media website.
