ABIA longlist announced

The Australian Book Industry Awards (ABIA) longlist for 2017 has been announced and we are very pleased to see a number of Scribe titles included.

Troy Bramston’s Paul Keating: The big-picture leader has made the Biography Book of the Year category, whilst Niki Savva’s The Road to Ruin: How Tony Abbott and Peta Credlin destroyed their own government made the General Non-fiction longlist. These two titles book-ended an exciting year for us at Scribe, with Niki’s creating a lot of hype at the start of 2016, and Troy’s doing the same just before Christmas.

Georgia Blain’s Between a Wolf and a Dog is included in the Literary Fiction longlist, as it continues to receive much well-deserved attention, and Kim Mahood’s beautifully evocative Position Doubtful: Mapping landscapes and memories has made the Small Publishers’ Adult Book of the Year longlist.
