The Animals in That Country wins VPLAs

Congratulations to Laura Jean McKay who has won the 2021 Victorian Prize for Literature and the Victorian Premier’s Literary Award for Fiction for her novel The Animals in That Country. Judges described the work as ‘a unique, brave piece of work that speaks to our world at this time’.
