DiscoverScribe is proud to share that Life So Full of Promise by Ross McMullin has been shortlisted for this year’s The Age Book of the Year Prize for Nonfiction.
The nonfiction judges, Simon Caterson and Joy Damousi, have described the books on the shortlist as those that ‘stood out for the quality of writing and the dedication the author brought to their subject.’ They describe McMullin’s multibiography as a ‘painstakingly researched and profoundly empathetic micro-history.’
The winner of each category will receive $10,000, and will be announced on May 8.
