Keeping Them Honest longlisted for the Australian Political Book of the Year

Scribe is pleased to share that Keeping Them Honest by Stephen Charles AO and Catherine Williams has been longlisted for the 2022 Australian Political Book of the Year Award. This award was established to highlight the significant role Australian political books play in better understanding politics and public policy, with the longlisted books being those that the judges deemed to provide the most compelling contribution to understanding Australian political events and debates.

‘We were very pleased to see a wide range of books that provided deep insights into contemporary political events, context for understanding them by examination of historical events, and analysis of important policy debates. Our political system and our democracy are enriched by these books. We are, as a community, grateful to the authors and publishers and their commitment to enhancing Australian public policy debate,’ said the judges.

Congratulations to Stephen, Catherine, and all of the other longlisted authors. The winner will be announced on 9 November.
