Damon Young longlisted for the Tasmanian Premier’s Literary Awards

Scribe is pleased to announce that On Getting Off: sex and philosophy by Damon Young has been longlisted for the 2022 Tasmanian Premier’s Prize for Nonfiction.

‘This year’s longlist is a bewitching mix of human and more-than-human stories. What unites these entries is the authors’ shared ability to capture a specific moment in times of uncertainty, whether that be in relation to politics, personal practice, or our place in the world,’ said the judges of the longlist.

Congratulations to Damon and the other longlisted authors. The shortlist will be announced on 9 November.
