Bulldozed shortlisted for Australian Political Book of the Year

Scribe is thrilled to share that Bulldozed by Niki Savva has been shortlisted for the Australian Political Book of the Year Award

The judges explained that Bulldozed stood out amongst the other longlisted books for its ‘compelling narrative’, and have stated that, ‘Niki Savva has smashed the mould of contemporary telling of the political contest which so often is a rushed retelling of events, using multiple anonymous sources and hindsight. There are no assertions of what unnamed players may have told her in her riveting account of the Morrison Government. The raw ambition and flaws of our politicians are on display in all their glory.’

This shortlisting awards $1000. The winner will be announced on 25 October, with a further $15000 to be awarded then.

Congratulations to Niki Savva on the continued recognition of this book.
