This year, NAIDOC Week is being celebrated from 3—10 July. The 2022 theme is “Get up! Stand up! Show up!”, aiming to amplify the voices of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, and to “narrow the gap between aspiration and reality, good intent and outcome”.
Scribe's Brunswick office is based on the unceded land of the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung people of the Kulin nation. We extend our respects to the traditional land owners and their elders past, persent, and emerging, not just this day but every day.
To help guide your reading this week — and every other day you are on unceded lands — here are two books from Aboriginal authors to read, absorb, and celebrate.
